Orange - Fashion Styling

The only thing constant in the fashion industry is change. Just as the trends for animal prints and funky punk wigs are not here forever, color trends in fashion are also short-lived. To stay fashionable, here are some hot color trends for spring-summer 2012 that should soon find place in your wardrobe:

  1. Soft caramel colors: Prefer light shades of pink, cream or coral colors in your wardrobe especially for the spring. Team them up with brighter shades to get the most sought after look of this season.
  2. Orange: You can never go wrong with this color in spring season. You have the option of going completely orange or if that is too bold for you, try to get some Dresses that come with orange as a base color or print.
  3. White: This is one color that can give you a complete feminine look. Prefer a white laced blouse or shirt and wear it with some bright colored skirt. Even a white pleated skirt is a great turn on this spring season. Or just imagine yourself in the white asymmetrical skirt with a pastel shade top.
  4. Black: This color never goes out of the fashion scene. A little black dress is perfect to the night out with friends and a black suit can never go wrong for office meetings.
  5. Fuchsia: If you are looking out for a perfect color for dinner party then prefer fuchsia color. It is an ideal pick as it is neither too vibrant like orange or yellow, nor too soft like caramel colors. This can give you an ultra glamorous look and bring you all the compliments galore.
  6. Yellow: Yellow and all its shades seem to rule the fashion scene this season. Yellow blouses to skirts to even printed-dresses are seen in all fashion houses and designer stores.
  7. Nude: The sheer simplicity and versatility of this color make it an instant hit among the fashion lovers. Soft enough to be worn to formal meetings and vibrant enough to be worn informally also.
  8. Red: A red dress can never go wrong, whatever be the occasion. Bright red has the potential to make even a grim situation appear bright. Complement your red dress with good makeup to accentuate your spell binding effect.

It is important to choose your wardrobe in trendy colors as wrong color selection can make even a good outfit go wrong for no fault.

How I Rock Skinny Jeans

I love  my skinny jeans. And my favorite way to rock them is to balance out the difference between the tight pants with a loose tee, cute shoes and an accessory.

Today was a lazy day and I didn’t feel like dressing up. If I felt like it I could have worn my favorite boots, but I felt like flats today. :D

You can probably tell in the picture, but I did layer this shirt with a white tank top.

And my ever adorable flats….. ;) They add a pop of color to an otherwise boring lazy outfit.

What I wore-

Jeans- Can’t remember….. :)

Shirt- Novica

Shoes- Shoe Thief

White Denim Jacket!

January 2nd, 2012 by Belle

Ok ladies! I decided to try something new. Outfit of the week! Well, sort of. I’ll post outfit ideas when I get a chance and share with you how you can re-create them!

Today’s features my white denim jacket from Old Navy. It’s the star of this show and adds a bit of edge to the outfit. I literally threw this outfit together in seconds.

My favorite part? The jacket hides any flaws. You can easily hide any of your “flaws” with a great jacket or blazer. Plus the jacket/blazer look is really at the moment.

I was in a hurry so I just grabbed my go-to brown handbag. It’s adorable and even if it doesn’t go 100% with the outfit, I still love it. Besides who said that everything had to be matchy-matchy anyways???? It’s good to break some fashion rules!

Of course if you know me I always add my own personal flair. And since I’m also a lover of boho items I added my favorite necklace made from recycled beads and fibers. Cute right?

And for my shoes I grabbed my oh-so comfortable heels from Rockport. These bad boys are amazing. If you are looking for a cute pair of heels that are super comfy then you have to buy these! They have around a 1-2″ heel so my 5″7 frame looks around 5″8.

Ignore any flaws please! Nobody’s perfect! (cue Jessie J!) :)  I have no clue what that streak of white is on my sweater. It must be my camera because that’s not on my sweater!! :D And the jacket really isn’t crooked. I was pulling on it from the one side…..  Oooh, that picture is making me want to pull it and straighten it. Grr……:P

What I wore-

Aeropostale Sweater (thrifted for $2)

Old Navy White Denim Jacket (thrifted for under $10)

See Thru Soul Jeans (Macy’s)

Necklace from FiveAccessories.com

Purse from mark

Heels from Rockport

My nails which badly need to be redone Zoya’s Shay

Happy New Year!!!
