Stoneridge Orchards – The Easy Way to Store Fruit!

stone

I’m a total fruit addict.  I’m a sugar fiend, as as much as I love cupcakes, I think nature does it best.  I’ve yet to come across a fruit that I don’t like!

The only problem?  Keeping fruit in a dorm room is a huge pain in the ass.  The temperature’s never right, and of course, where do you put it?  Dorm refrigerator’s are tiny, so there’s barely enough room for a few staples, much less a bag of apples.  Plus, fruit is often expensive, which makes it even more of a bummer when you’ve got to throw a bag of rotten groceries away!

It’s so much easier to store chips and cookies, but there’s no reason to miss out on the healthy benefits of fruit.  My solution?  Dried fruit!  It’s just as delicious, has the same vitamins and nutrients, and won’t go bad.  I’ve tried many different types of dried fruits, fruit leathers, and fruit chips – you name it, I’ve snacked on it!  But as far as guilty pleasures go, fruit is a pretty innocent one.

Stoneridge Orchards, a Skylarhaley division, sent me a delicious selection of fruit to review.  Bing Cherries, Montmorency Cherries, Blueberries, Peaches, Green Apples, Strawberries, Raspberries, and Mixed Berries – the usual suspects, and then some!  I’ve actually never had dried Peaches, but I’m completely in love!  The Green Apples were a close second, with a delicious tangy flavor and perfect texture.

Each type of fruit provides a wide variety of healthy perks, like Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Iron, Protein, and the like.  You can check out all the nutritional information here.  You can use all the beauty products in the world, but for truly beautiful skin, hair, and nails, you need to make sure to properly nourish your body!

You can either search for a Stoneridge Orchards retailer near you, or visit their online store.
