The Fashionable Housewife teamed up with TJ Maxx and Marshalls to offer 4 women mini makeovers, each for under $100. It was quite the mission to take all 4 women out shopping on the same day, but I managed to pull it off and video tape a little bit of our shopping experience!
First, I took Anne Marie and Bonnie to TJ Maxx and helped them both shop for new outfits. Afterwards, we all headed over to Marshalls with Ashley and Jaclyn to give them mini makeovers for under $100 each!
I stayed up all night long the night before and made notes about what types of clothes and colors would be best for each woman. Since I was running around the store looking for the perfect items for each person, I didn’t get as much video footage as I had hoped for, but you can see from the video that we had a lot of fun and they were super excited to show off their new looks!

Jaclyn is very tall, with beautiful long legs, so finding jeans for her was challenging. However, I was able to find her a gorgeous DKNY dress that was originally $98.00, but on sale at Marshalls for only $20.00! I was so excited to find such an amazing steal and in her size no less! Imagine my elation when I was able to find the same dress in my size… So Jaclyn and I now have matching dresses, but we’ve been best friends for well over 15 years, so it’s all good. And hey, after 4 hours of shopping, I had to buy at least one thing for myself. And I swear it’s the ONLY thing I bought for myself after all that shopping!!!!!
Ashley is a petite little thing with very slender legs. Shopping for her was challenging for different reasons. It was hard to find jeans small enough to fit her tiny little waist, but we managed to find 2 pairs that look absolutely fabulous on her! I was also able to find her a beautiful turquoise dress and matching shoes (which you’ll see in the video).
I had so much fun shopping for both of them and finding clothes that were flattering for both their individual body shapes. Marshalls had a huge selection and I loved showing them THE CUBE and the fabulous selection in the SHOE MEGASHOP.
