The Pennies from Heaven Challenge hub at is where users can log in and start to donate digital pennies by doing a number of social things on facebook, twitter, foursquare etc. Just by logging into the Pennies from Heaven website and connecting your Facebook and Twitter you trigger a lot of penny donations. You will see at the top of the page the number of digital penny donations made so far and each time you do some sort of social activity related to jcpenney, you trigger more!

If you purchase a coin purse that also triggers donations but you do not have to purchase one. The goal for jcpenney is to reach 100,000,000 digital penny donations on the hub and jcpenney will donate $1million to afterschool programs.

Contest runs from August 29th, till September 11th, 2011. Last chance to enter is at September 11th, 2011, 11:59pm ET. Winner will be chosen with Random.org and notified by email within 7 days of contest end and asked for full name, address and phone number (for shipping purposes). If no response is given within 48 hours, a different winner will be chosen, so please be sure to check your email!
