It is this increased amount of spandex in each individual garment that gives the supportive and controlled fit whereas most apparel on the market has only a mere 2-5% spandex, making the pieces unflatteringly hug the body rather than control one’s shape.
The original in shapewear supportive clothing, Women With Control, has set the bar as a complete lifestyle brand rather than focusing specifically on shapewear leggings as many similar brands have done and has expanded the line to include plus-size customers—the real woman. I think spandex in clothing is a great way to add comfort and shape, while eliminating baginess in clothing. Completely acceptable.
