1928 Sex & the City Jewelry Giveaway

Sex & the City 2 may no longer be in theaters, but the characters are forever in our hearts!  In honor of the saga (fingers crossed that it continues!), 1928 and The Fashionable Gal have teamed up to bring you a Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte themed giveaway!

ABOUT THE BRAND:

The words timeless & vintage immediately spring to mind when you hear the name 1928 Jewelry. For over 40 years, the 1928 Jewelry Company has drawn on a wealth of designs discovered in many unique, unexpected places. From the vaults of rich European capitals to the antique laden attics of old American estates, we’ve created modern replicas of the most beautiful, exquisite vintage jewelry ever made. The 1928 Jewelry Company was founded by Melvyn Bernie in 1968. Currently, the company has four lines under its signature brand name. The 1928 Brand has sought to provide exceptional value to the fashion savvy consumer who is dedicated to building her vintage jewelry collection with unique accessories. The jewelry in the 1928 collections are designed to respect the details of period pieces while offering fresh design interpretations to fit today’s styles and fashions.

I adore vintage-y jewelry, and was thrilled to discover 1928.  They have such a wonderful selection of gorgeous, eye catching jewelry!  It took me forever to pore over the entire selection on their site and pick out a piece for review, but I finally selected the Azure Iridescent Button Earrings.  They are even sweeter in person, and I’m so happy with my choice!  The earrings are well made and arrived quickly, both of which were added bonuses.  They’re great with summer dresses and have scored me multiple compliments.

One of you lucky ladies is going to have your own fabulous 1928 experience very soon – the Papaya Pink & Copper Flower Cuff Bracelet ($38 Value), a Carrie inspired piece, is up for grabs!

CONTEST INFO:  This contest will run from now until July 22, 2010, 11:59 PM EST.  You must complete the Mandatory Entry for all extra entries to count.  Please leave a separate comment for each entry!

MANDATORY ENTRY:  Leave a comment telling me which Sex & the City character you identify with most.  Then, tell me which piece from 1928 you think that character (and you!) would love most.

omg, I have loved this brand for years.. Love their style! I identify most with Miranda.. she’s very no nonsense and that’s definitely me. Plus I’m tall! 🙂 I think we would both dig the Vintage Black-Diamond Crystal Drop Necklace because it’s versatile and would go with a lot of outfits, plus it’s not too fussy.

I relate mostly to Miranda. I don’t see myself as fru-fru just the same as her. I prefer one statement piece and leave the rest simple. I absolutely adore the Oval Brass Locket Ring. That would be something I would wear to dress up a simple outfit.
