Whip Your Shower Into Shape!

fairy bubbles

Ready to change things up in the shower?  Looking for something new and exciting to replace all those boring bottles?  Want extra smooth skin that smells delicious as it looks?

Yeah?  Me too!  And while looking for the latest and greatest in shower delights, I stumbled across what just may be the best thing ever:  Whipped Soap from an adorable shop on Etsy called Fairy Bubbles!

If you don’t know what whipped soap is, here’s a description from the shop’s owner:  “If you have never tried whipped soap you are in for a treat. It’s smooth, thick, creamy with a soft fluffy texture almost like whipped topping…and it leaves your skin feeling moisturized. It’s just a load of soft creamy bubbles, that leave you going WOW!”

Between the description and the photos, I couldn’t wait to try a jar of my own!  The package I received contained whipped soap in several scents:  Pink Sugar, Strawberries & Chocolate, Chai Tea, and Banana Pudding.  Each jar smelled absolutely heavenly, and very much like the foods they were named after- not anything like chemicals or glycerin, which is often what soap smells like to me.

As delicious as the scents were, my favorite part of the whipped soap was the texture!  While a little bit goes a long way, I scooped out close to a handful for an extra-luxurious treat.  Like with normal shower gel, I put the soap on my shower pouf, and lathered up!  It felt like I was showering with frosting…  Rich, creamy, and totally decadent.  However, instead of feeling sticky, my skin was left clean and refreshed.  Normally, I’m not a soap fan at all- but this glorious whipped version has converted me completely!

Because the soap comes in jars, it’s actually a lot easier to travel with than regular body wash.  You can just throw it in your bag without worrying that the top is going to pop open and leak product into your bag.  The beautiful labels also make the jars look a little fancier than your normal bath products, and even though they aren’t expensive, giving them as gifts will make your friends feel like you got them a really special gift- which of course you did, but they don’t have to know it wasn’t expensive, too!

The whipped soap is available in 2 sizes:  “Small” jars are 4 oz, and “Large” ones are 8 oz.  They retail for $4.50 and $8.50, respectively- and the jars really do last!  I use mine routinely and have only hit bottom in the Strawberries & Chocolate variety- which is my personal fave!

Other scents include:

~Peach Smoothie

~Fairy Bubbles Potion No 1

~Pink Watermelon

~Lime & Coconut

~Sweat Pea

~Margarita Ville

~Vanilla Sugar

~Water Lily & Jasmine

~Chocolate

~Bermuda Triangle

~Strawberry Rhubarb

~Lemongrass

~Fuzzy Navel

~Sage & Citrus

~Blue Sugar

~Cucumber & Cantaloupe

body butter

The shop also contains a selection of body butters (pictured above), body scrubs (I adore the Vanilla Hazelnut!), lip balms (grape soda is my fave), natural bar soaps, and even a few “just for men” products.  I received samples of some of the bar soaps as well, as was very impressed with their quality- but from now on, I’m totally a whipped soap girl!

Oh My! I would have to keep this behind lock and key. My teenager would cover herself in this from head to toe and my 3-year-old would eat it…LOL! I think I’m going to have to try this. It would make nice Christmas gifts as well. Thanks!

Just reading the description of the whipped soap I’m sold on trying one out already! It sounds wonderful, it’s like you’re pampering yourself every time you use it. I agree, it would be perfect as gifts too! And with the holiday season fast approaching, this is a no-fuss, thoughtful, and very useful gift!

My husband hates that I have stuff like that in our shower. So I told him to buy one of these Steam Shower Units and I will promise to keep it spotless. I got results cuz I’m a princess! LOL
