Oh, dolls, I’m having one mess of a day! Earlier, I was reminded of how truly useless my career advisor is (her greatest suggestion was to change schools). I moped my way back to the post office in hope of goodies, and instead found collection letters. A word of advice: DO NOT get a Capital One card. Apparently, mine’s been bouncing random charges. Of course, they were all for makeup! To top it off, my online banking service is down for maintenance. What’s a girl to do???
Okay, okay, enough of my whining. Save it for the boyfriend, right? Hah! A few updates… I colored my hair for the season, and will be posting before and after pics soon. Also, I have discovered the BEST nail polish-stay tuned for the name dropping! First, babes, we’re going to talk boots.
If you’re supermodel skinny, you can just skip the rest of this post! But, if you’re one of the many girls that are more “average” sized (in America, somewhere from a 10 to a 14), or in the “plus” range, this is for you! Depending on your particular shape and body size, you’re probably not too excited about the boot trend that’s dominating the fall/winter fashion scene-not because you don’t like the style, but because they don’t fit! How cruel is it that even shoes can make you feel fat?!
I remember last year that I struggled and struggled to find a pair of boots that fit… Not because my toes were cramped, but because the zipper didn’t want to close over my calves! How mortifying! Of course, I turned to the internet (so I could be embarrassed in privacy) and found the solution! Torrid! While Torrid specializes in fashionable plus size wear (anything from relaxation to bridal), they also stock a bad ass selection of boots!
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to snag any photos from the Torrid website. I apologize for the lack of eye candy, but trust me-you need to check it out for yourself! Here are links to a few of my faves:
Happy shopping, loves!
