Clairol Review: Color Me Happy

As you might remember, I posted not too long ago about my experience with Clairol’s Natural Instincts Hair Color.  Well, you might be wondering how I take care of the color, as well as my hair in general!

The answer?  Herbal Essences’ Color Me Happy line!  The products in the line are infused with satin (how cool!) and wonder fruit acai berry.  Like all the other products I’ve tried from Herbal Essences, these guys smell delicious!  The Shampoo, Conditioner, or 2-in-1 products leave hair 99% shinier, and protect your precious color.

I’ll admit it:  at first, I wasn’t impressed.  When talking to my boyfriend about the products (I’m sure he was fascinated), I expressed my feelings that Color Me Happy didn’t really work any differently/better than other products I’d used.  Then, I had a light bulb moment.  I was comparing the bottles of drugstore product to high end varieties that had cost me more than twenty dollars a bottle.

So, yeah.  When you take that into consideration, Color Me Happy rocks.  I’m just spoiled  : )

Just my thoughts on Clairol – I’m trying to figure out how you infuse anything with “Satin”. Satin is a fabric (satin sheets)or a description (i.e. her hair felt like satin). Regarding Clairol haircolor, I agree the nice and easy washes out almost right away. And sadly, I am allergic to Natural Instincs (love the color)
