Planning A Wedding? Ensure You’re Getting These Things Right

If you’re going to be planning a wedding, you need to make sure that you are getting as many elements as perfect as you can. When you were little, if you dreamed about your wedding and some of those elements still hold true to what you want today, then they are a good place to start. Remember that most people only get one wedding their whole life, and it’s important that it’s as close to perfect as it can be.

Down below, we’re going to be taking a look at some of the elements that we think are most important, and as such should have more of a focus than others. You need to decide what is most important to you though, and prioritize this. If you want to find out more, feel free to read on.

Wedding Ring

The first thing that we’re going to be looking at is your wedding rings. You should go together to choose these to ensure that you both like the gold rings that have been picked out. You have to wear these for the rest of your lives, so it’s important that you like the ring that will be going on your finger.

For example, if you have an oval and pear setting ring, then you need a wedding band that will go nicely with this, accentuating the stones and making it look even better than before. Of course, this is going to depend on what you like, and what combinations work best for you, so take a look at a variety of options before settling on anything.

Wedding Shoes

Before you lock down your venue, take a moment to think about one of the most underrated wedding details of all… your shoes! They need to be more than pretty; they need to support you from walking down the aisle to dancing all night long. Choose a pair of comfortable wedding shoes that complements your dress and reflects your personal style, but don’t forget to factor in comfort, heel height, and how the terrain of your venue might affect them. A pair that works with grass, sand, marble, or wood can make a big difference in how confident and comfortable you feel throughout your celebration. And pro tip: consider a backup pair like these wedding shoes for the reception so your feet don’t start begging for mercy once the dancing begins.

Venue

Now, think about the type of venue you want to get married in. This could be anything from the local chapel to a beach in an exotic location. Discuss this with your other half and see what you can both agree on. It might be that you need to wait for your chosen venue, if they are popular and busy. However, some venues are certainly worth the wait.

Photographer

Finally, when it comes to planning a wedding you might want to find a photographer or even a videographer to capture special parts of your day, including things like your wedding shoes and your gold rings in an aesthetic setting. However, do be aware that they may not fit into your budget. This is often why photographers offer you a set number of hours when you book their services. You are looking around the 1000 mark if you want a decent photographer all day. However, with the power of smartphones these days, you can also get your guests to take wonderful pictures. Put on the invites that your guests are welcome to take as many pictures of you and the ceremony as they want, as long as they share them with you afterwards.

Hopefully you found this article helpful and it gave you some ideas on how to plan the ultimate wedding. There will be certain aspects on your list of wants that not everyone will approve of, however, it is your day and nobody else’s.
