Introducing: Dragon’s Blood for Your Face?

Peter Thomas Roth Clinical Skin Care has come out with an intriguing (and rather scary, I must say) skin care product:

Dragon’s Blood Damaged Skin CPR

This  product features a red resin from a tree called the “Croton Lechleri”, and helps to repair damaged skin. While the title may seem a bit too “Charlie Sheen” for my taste I have to admit, it’s drawing me in with the stats. Users of this product can expect a more even skin tone, faster skin repair,  and a “tighter” feel to the skin.

More about this product:

33.5% Dragon’s Blood Complex
• 5% Dragon’s Blood: helps accelerate skin’s natural regeneration
• 10% Phytomoist Qusome: provides intense moisturization
• 5% Aquafil: helps restore skin’s natural lipid barriers
• 4% DRC Qusome: Rebuilds and repairs damaged, prematurely aged skin

And the below combined at 9.5%
• Derm SRC: helps restore skin’s natural collagen & elastin production
• Chromocare: evens and rejuvenates complexion and tone
• Niacinamide PC: helps restore skin’s natural equilibrium
• Alistin: repairs stress damaged cell walls

BENEFITS:
• Fights visible signs of environmental assault.
• Repairs heavily damaged, prematurely aged skin.
• Accelerates natural rate of cellular regeneration.
• Restores skin’s natural repair mechanisms.
• Diminishes the appearance of hyper pigmentation.

I have done my fare share of expensive experiments, and wasn’t sure I wanted to invest in another (this product is $118.00 USD) one. However, the reviews for this product have been pretty positive.

What do you think of this product? Would you ever try Dragon’s Blood?

xox,

Andrea
