If you’re not familiar with Threadless, you should be. They’re on of the coolest apparel purveyors on the web! Not only are the shirts totally awesome, but they’re now environmentally friendly, thanks to a couple of Earth Day inspired programs that are running this week! First up is the Buy A Tee, Plant A Tree Program. It’s pretty straight forward; for every tee purchased this week, Threadless will donate a dollar to the Plant A Billion Trees Charity. A dollar might not sound like much-except that’s exactly how much the PABT Charity needs to plant a tree! Easy, right?
Next up is the Show Us Your Green program. You can check out the official entry info here, but basically you just take a photo of yourself doing something green (Oh, I so want to make a Shrek joke right now), post it on one of their designated entrance sites (Facebook, Flickr, etc.), then tell EVERYONE. The more people who participate, the bigger the prize gets-right now you could win over $1,800! Photo judging is going to be done on the 27th, so hurry up and enter!
If that’s not enough, here’s some other info sure to get you interested… First off, new tees are added every Monday; how much more cutting edge can your fashion get? There’s also a huge selection of clearance shirts that are either $9, $12, or $15. And there are more chances for prizes; if you’re feeling creative, submit your own original tee shirt design and have the chance to win $2,500! If you’re not feeling the creative vibes yourself, you can also become a member and vote for which designs you want to win. A million ways to participate!
