Clairol Review: ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss

If you’ve ever colored your hair with Clairol’s Nice ‘N Easy Color (my mom loves it!), you’re familiar with the cult favorite conditioner that comes with it! Well, loves, I’ve got great news! You can now pick it up separately for only $4.99.

I confess: I never follow the directions. Rather than using a moderate amount and really working it through my hair, I like to squeeze out a handful and really coat my locks. I tend to treat my hair poorly, and since I’m growing it out, I’m trying to really take care of it now!

Two minutes with ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss in my hair (I like to put it on before I shave my legs, then rinse it out afterwards) and my mane is SILK! It’s a lot easier to do use this in the shower than spend half an hour or an hour with a mask in my hair. A girl’s got stuff to do!

Alright, so now that you’ve got a head full of my opinion, here is some information direct from Clairol!

“What is ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss?

Nice ‘n Easy ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss is an intensive weekly conditioning treatment specially designed for color-treated hair. It helps keep hair color looking healthy, long-lasting, and shiny for up to six weeks.

How does it work?

Only ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss has our exclusive ColorSeal complex that seals the outer layer of the hair (called the cuticle), helping to keep hair from looking faded, dull, and dry.

How is it different from other conditioners?

Unlike daily conditioners, ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss has a targeted amount of silicones that condition hair, a benefit that lasts through rinsing and subsequent shampoos.

How do I use it?

Replace daily conditioner once a week with ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss. Apply to hair like a traditional conditioner; leave on for two minutes and rinse.”

Does anyone know if you can purchase just the conditioner at a store? If yes, then what store?

As the first paragraph of the blog says, you can pick it up separately for about five bucks. It’s available at pretty much any drugstore.
