Corset tops are no longer just a piece of 19th century fashion history. They are back, and making a big impression by providing the much desired hour-glass figure look that only countless time in the gym and plastic surgery could create!

There are many different types of corsets. There are some things to consider before shopping for one. First of all – the boning of the corset. Some have a light-weight plastic boning. These are the most common now-a-days, and also the most economical. They are light-weight, and still can do a good job of creating the hour-glass figure, and pushing up the breasts for a sexy look. Then there are corsets with strong, steel boning. These are usually a lot pricier, running anywhere from $35 – $300. Some women wear them for “waist training”. As if you tighten up the laces as much as possible, and wear the corset consistently, it can have a shape shifting effect on the body. Besides the boning, there are “over-bust” corsets, which cover the breast area and are a full corset. Then there are under-bust corsets, which only cover the waist to act as “waist cinchers”. Why does college have to be so expensive? With the cost of tuition, fees, textbooks, etc…I usually don’t have any money left over for school clothes. Not even a shirt!

I shrink when I see a textbook that I am required to get for a class and it costs $113! That’s a lot of money! Well, I’m here to tell you that there is an answer to all of this madness. Bold Palettes from BH Cosmetics

Since you’re here, we already know you’re a beauty fiend (like me!). We beauty enthusiasts are always adding to our cosmetic collections, looking for the next big thing. I’m all about radiant colors that add vibrancy to even the most simple outfits. All of this buying-and-trying can put a strain on my wallet, though… So as much as I love new cosmetics, I also love low prices.

BH Cosmetics makes a range of fabulous eyeshadow palettes that feature a wide selection of colors. BH Cosmetics has very low (below wholesale!) prices. They have 18 sets, including two brush sets, which I really have my eye on. I love that there are basic palettes – although it’s hard to call 120 colors basic! – and then “themed” palettes, like Neutral, Shimmer, and Tropical. There are also lip, contour, and blush palettes.

BH Cosmetics are said to make highly pigmented, blendable cosmetics with high staying power – pretty much the holy trinity for makeup. I haven’t tried their products yet, but am definitely intrigued. Currently, I have six or seven shadow palettes that are divided by color. This definitely takes extra time in the morning, when I have to hunt through to find which shade I want. I can see it being a lot easier to get things done fast with one big palette that contains all the colors I could need.

For the big time makeup collector, these colors probably already exist in your collection. However, a palette like this can make travel a lot easier. For the makeup newbie, this is a great way to go! Trying a bunch of colors will help you figure out which work best for you, so you can continue to expand your collection in the right direction.

If remembering to pay your bill every month is a hassle, you can also sign up for their auto-pay program (currently, you’ll receive a $20 account credit for doing so!). And if you’re a little behind on bills, Boost Mobile is now allowing friends or family members to pay your bill without tying their card to your account.

Boost Mobile has a great selection of phones that are very social in nature. They make using Facebook and Twitter very simple, which is a feature that’s very important to me. I update my accounts on the go frequently, and having the ability to do so quickly is something that I love. I have a lot of friends who are hooked on using their social media accounts while they’re out and about, but don’t have phones that allow them to do so – well, now’s your chance to get one!

One of Boost Mobile’s most popular phones is their Blackberry. I really wanted a Blackberry when I last replaced my phone, and am hoping to have the opportunity next time around. Boost Mobile’s Blackberry has an enhanced mp3 player, a digital camera, email, and an enhanced web browser. Boost Mobile offers a Monthly Unlimited plan for $60, and it includes unlimited talk, text, web, and email.

Another really popular phone is the Motorola i1. It’s a nationwide boost walkie talkie that also features email access, a 5MP camera with video capability, and WIFI capability. It also features a Monthly Unlimited plan for $50. It includes unlimited talk, text, web, 411 (love this!), IM & email.

Boost Mobile also offers a range of optional extras with their plans, which is great if you’re on a budget but looking for something in particular. I don’t like having to go with an “all or nothing” plan where I pay for features I don’t want and am so overwhelmed I barely use the ones I do. Phones have become so personal, it makes sense that they should be able to be personalized! I’ve definitely got my eye on Boost Mobile for my future cellphone needs, and encourage you to check them out!

Dream Vacation Idea: Kissimmee, Florida

While the warm weather may not exactly have you dreaming of a tropical vacation, colder days are just around the corner. But don’t shoot the messenger!- just read on to make sure you’re prepared! Kissimmee, Florida, might not be the first town that pops into your mind when you’re contemplating your fantasy getaway. However, the area has a lot to offer and is somewhere that’s definitely found a spot on my future vacation list.

Kissimmee is in the hart of Florida, next to Orlando and close to everything. It’s only an hour from the Atlantic Ocean, and less than two from the Gulf Coast. The location lets you enjoy all of Florida, including theme parks, beaches, outdoor activities, and of course – relaxation! Outdoor activities include airboat rides, zip-lining, horseback riding, hiking, birding, and biking.

There are also quaint towns nearby, including St. Cloud and Celebration. The towns boast boutiques, eclectic shops, fabulous restaurants, and lakefront scenery (perfect for family or romantic picnics).

I’ve never been to Kissimmee, but it sounds like an ideal Florida locale. Since this is a dream vacation, I’d stay in a hotel normally out of my budget, like the Radisson. I’d definitely do a lot of shopping, especially since Kissimmee is near factory stores and outlets. I’d also visit the beach and possibly try a new activity, like zip-lining.
