Boucle Sweaters from Victoria’s Secret.

I’ve been in dire need of a new sweater! When I unpacked my fall and winter clothes last week, I discovered that my shoulders seem to have broadened. Bummer. However, Victoria’s Secret sent me another one of their great discount emails, and I’ve now got a list of drool-worthy warm wear! Here are my favorites, and all for less than $30!

Alright, so this one’s not quite work appropriate, huh? I just think the style is really interesting, as I don’t see that many shirts-sweaters especially-with keyhole front designs!

This is also a really versatile piece, because it can be made work/school appropriate. Wear a turtleneck in a contrasting color for a modest look, a higher warmth factor, and an eye catching pop of unexpected color in the front! A camisole will work just as well if you just want a little bit more coverage.

Next up is the Shawl-Collar Sweater. I highly disregard that you ignore the model, and wear pants with it. It’s a nice alternative to the typical cowl neck, with a more narrow and lower reaching collar. I can’t stand having too much fabric bunched up around my neck!

It can be mixed and matched in the same manner as the piece above-it will even work with a dress under it! Pair it with a now too-cool summer piece for a warmer way to extend your wardrobe!

Last is the plunging v-neck sweater. I really seem to be on a cleavage kick tonight! Sorry guys! I just really like the way that the neckline folds over itself at the bottom-as if that’s what anyone will be looking at!

Once again, layering will be your friend. I really dig the idea of putting this with a pair of jeans and some killer heels, OR pairing it with a little black dress and some kick-ass leather boots.
