With the warm summer months quickly approaching, it’s all about ease, free-loving strands that stand against humidity. Below, Elie Gerdak, owner of the Elie Elie Salon in Tyson’s Corner, VA, shares what’s hot for summer 2010…

“Summer is all about healthy locks that defy humidity and thrill! Whether you’re headed to the beach or for a night out on the town, your hairstyle should emulate the upcoming trends – curls and volume!”

* Treat yourself to a hydrating masque that will infuse your locks with moisture. After days at the beach or poolside, your dried-out hair will thank you for giving it a little TLC.
